I usually don't edit my photos, except for a little rotating and cropping. But, black and white... I felt it's different. This is what I do: I take a colour photo, desaturate it, then start "playing" with contrast and sometimes I also use the "retinex" technique - this picture is an example. I ll try more filtering techniques in the future.
