    There is an island in the lake of Ioannina (Pamvotida lake). It is said to be one of few, perhaps the only inhabited lake island in Europe. That's where the photo is from. I don't know how old the chimney or the house was. I might ask the next time I get there.

    I was on the island a few days ago and I looked for it. Eventually, I was wrong. It's not a chimney. It's some kind of monument (side view of its top). I had totally forgotten that, as I had taken the photo 3 years before posting it here.
